A plain-language guide to two molecules your cells depend on, NAD+ and glutathione, and the everyday nutrients that quietly keep them working.
NAD+ (short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a small helper molecule found in every cell in your body. It helps your cells turn food into energy. It also helps them repair damage to DNA.
Levels drop as you get older. That drop is part of why energy and recovery often feel different in your 50s than in your 30s.
Drop in NAD+ levels between roughly age 40 and age 60 in the tissue studied. In everyday terms: the same cellular machinery has about half the fuel it started with.

People who use NAD+ support often report better energy, sharper thinking, and improved sleep. These are personal reports, not guaranteed outcomes. Individual response varies.
Glutathione is a small molecule your body makes on its own. It is often called your "master antioxidant," meaning it helps mop up the everyday damage that comes from stress, pollution, and normal metabolism.
It also helps the liver clear out things the body does not want to keep around.
Some patients report improvements in skin and recovery. As with any treatment, results vary from person to person, and use is decided with a provider.
B12 helps your body make red blood cells and keep nerves healthy. When levels run low, energy often takes the first hit, which is why B12 comes up so often in energy conversations.
Vitamin D supports bones, the immune system, and how your body handles energy overall. Low levels are common and easy to catch with a simple blood test.
These nutrients help. They do not replace a real evaluation or the basics: sleep, food, and movement.
